Over 1 million Americans abuse Adderall recreationally





From 2006 to 2014, recreational use of Adderall, one of the more commonly prescribed ADHD medications for people 26 and older, rose fourfold, from 345,000 people to 1.4 million. Adderall is a highly addictive amphetamine. And Americans everywhere are popping it. So much so that in emergency rooms around the country, cases involving ADHD drugs have nearly quadrupled over the past seven years.
