Rev. Jesse Jackson speaks with RT about Ferguson and race in America

The racial tensions in America have been simmering and ignored for too long, according Rev. Jesse Jackson. In an interview with RT’s Ameera David, the civil rights activist and founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition spoke about the militarized police response to the unrest in Ferguson, MO; the longstanding mistreatment of minorities; and the influence of capitalism on the American prison system. Jackson says that ethnic groups have learned to survive apart, but must now learn to live together and see more than just hate and violence.
