Officer-involved shootings escape FBI scrutiny





Demonstrations are popping up across the US to protest not only the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, but a host of other police killings of unarmed persons. Over 400 citizens are shot by law enforcement every year in the US, according to the FBI, but this figure is widely believed to be inaccurate due to inadequate reporting procedures by law enforcement.
